What is Onboarding?

Your Onboarding Appointment is an opportunity for us to get to know you.

Once every 12 months you’ll need to attend an in-person Onboarding Appointment to remain an active .doctor family member. This is a short 10 minute appointment with one of our GPs at one of our in-person locations.

Share your medical history

We’ll ask you about your medical history, whether you have any allergies and if you are currently taking any medications. The more you share with us the better!

Check your vitals

If appropriate, your doctor will check your vitals, including your blood pressure, heart rate and temperature. You can use this as a chance to measure your height and weight too.

Confirm your details

We’ll use this appointment as an opportunity to confirm we’ve got your latest contact detail and emergency contacts. You’ll also be asked to provide some ID.

Discuss your lifestyle

This appointment is an opportunity for you to share with your doctor any information that may be of use over the next 12 months when connecting by telehealth.

What to expect?

Expect your Onboarding Appointment to be pretty relaxed. It’s a chance for you to meet one of our GPs and share information that will be helpful over the next 12 months as we provide telehealth care.

You can share as much or as little information with your doctor as you’d like. What you do choose to share with us will be saved to your secure health profile which can be referred to by our doctors when you schedule video or phone telehealth consultations.

Where to go?

We have a combination of established GP clinics and mobile pop-up clinics to allow us to see as many patients as possible across regional Australia.

Each location will have appointments available only on certain days throughout the month which you can book online.

Once you’ve confirmed a time for your in-person Onboarding Appointment at a location near you, we’ll send you detailed instructions on where to go on the day for your appointment.

Enjoy unlimited video and phone consults, bulk billed.

Once you’ve attended your in-person Onboarding Appointment you’ll have access to unlimited video and phone GP appointments for the next 365 days.
